The MAS Race Prediction Calculator and the MAS Race Engine uses your Maximal Aerobic Speed (MAS) to generate accurate, physiologically-grounded race predictions for 2km, 5km, 10km, half marathon, and marathon. Built on Jack Daniels’ VDOT framework and TCC’s proprietary MAS model.

Two prediction models are displayed side by side – 1) the internationally recognised Daniels VDOT model and 2) the TCC MAS Model, which applies research-validated MAS percentages developed through years of coaching practice. This allows you to compare both, whilst acknowledging that the practical application of the Daniel’s VDOT predictions can be too aggressive and fast for athletes and runners alike.
