WHAT’S INCLUDED

IS THIS PROGRAM FOR ME?

-Given the individualised nature of the IRP it is the perfect program to cater for a wide variety of athletes or individuals looking improve their running whilst mitigating injury risk.
-The IRP has been implemented with the following athletes and/or individuals – competitive and recreational runners, team sport athletes training for their respective pre-seasons, elite athletes training for targeted competitions and/or camps (i.e. AFL Combine and Australian squad selection camps) and individuals that are returning to running after injury.

PROGRAM GOALS

-The IRP is the perfect program for athletes or individuals looking to improve their running performance and target specific events or compettitions.
-The IRP has been proven to improve aerobic fitness, competition performance whilst mitigating injury risk.

WHAT’S NEW IN 2024?
  • Since the inception of the Team Sport Conditioning Plan in 2021, they have been a tremendous success and clearly one of our most popular TCC programs, with application right across the globe with a wide variety of athletes and sports.
  • In fact, the Team Sport Conditioning Plans have been so successful that over 500 have been sold to athletes from a wide range of sports, most notably Australian Rules Football, Soccer, Field Hockey, Gaelic Football, Hurling and both Rugby codes.
  • The changes to the Team Sport Off-Season Conditioning Programs Conditioning Plan have been underpinned by YOUR feedback, which has requested an individualised off-season conditioning program and a specific off-season program that caters for the needs of court-based team sport athletes, such as Basketball and Netball.
TEAM SPORT OFF-SEASON CONDITIONING PROGRAMS

🔶 TEAM SPORT OFF-SEASON CONDITIONING PROGRAM – FIELD SPORT

The team sport off-season conditioning program for field sports has been expertly devised to provide field sport athletes with a comprehensive off-season conditioning program to improve aerobic fitness, mitigate injury risk and improve sporting performance.

This program consists of a wide variety of objectively prescribed conditioning sessions that cater for the physiological, mechanical and movement demands of team sport athletes that compete in field sports.

🔶 INDIVIDUALISED TEAM SPORT OFF-SEASON CONDITIONING PROGRAM

The individualised team sport off-season program has been created for field sport athletes that want their off-season conditioning program to be specific to their aerobic fitness & capacity. The individualised nature of this program is underpinned by the determination of YOUR Maximal Aerobic Speed, which is then used to prescribe each of the conditioning sessions included in the off-season program.

In contrast, the team sport off-season program for field sports has been devised to provide team sport athletes with conditioning prescription ranges.

🔶 TEAM SPORT OFF-SEASON CONDITIONING PROGRAM – COURT SPORT

The team sport off-season conditioning program for court sports stems from requests by athletes who compete in court sports, such as netball and basketball. These sports are unique, with the physiological, movement and load demands in stark contrast to most of the field sports catered for in the original team sport conditioning plan.

More specifically, this program includes specific conditioning sessions that are more suited to the off-season requirements for court-based team sport athletes.

OFF-SEASON PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

-The Team Sport Off-Season Conditioning Program aims to improve pre-season performance, training continuity whilst mitigating injury risk for team sport athletes.

-The Conditioning Program is devised to improve aerobic fitness, anaerobic capacity, and body composition.

-The plan successfully utilises objective running prescription to improve accountability, engagement, and physiological adaptation.

5km or 10km RUNNING PLAN

The online running plans are devised for inividuals who either want to target a 5 or 10km race or simply want to be able to run those distances

WHAT’S INCLUDED

-Initial consultation to discuss your running goals, training histoy and injury history.
-The runnings plans are 6-week objectively prescribed programs which cater for a wide variety of fitness levels.
-The running plans are devised using objective running prescription across a wide varety of training types (i.e. High Intensity Interval Training, Continuous Training, Fartlek Training and Cross Training)

IS THIS PROGRAM FOR ME?

-The running plans are devised to accomodate the needs of runners with varied running experience, injury history and objectives (i.e. 5km race, 10km PB or simply want to be able to run 10km).
-The running plans can also accomodate the physical and physiological requirements of a wide variety of sports and competitions, ranging from team sport athletes competing in football, hockey or soccer competition all the way through to endurance athletes targeting running events up to 10km.

PROGRAM GOALS

-The running plans are devised to improve your 5km or 10km personal best, competition performance, aerobic fitness, body composition whilst decreasing your injury risk.
