ASPIRING ATHLETE
Holistic online athletic development program which aims to nurture and improve the physical development of young athletes.
-Initial consultation to discuss your sons and/or daughters training / injury history and determine their training and competition goals.
-Load management strategies are utilised to mitigate the incidence of injuries whilst balancing their complex and convoluted academic and sporting commitments.
-The AAP is centred around age appropriate and competency-based programs.
-The AAP is devised and distributed monthly.
-24/7 contact with TCC via text, email, or phone.
The AAP includes the following support for your aspirational child:
-Movement assessment to assess movement competency & identify deficiencies.
-Strength training programs which are tailored to accommodate equipment access.
-Objective running programs tailored to accommodate specific sport.
-Injury mitigation programs tailored to address underlying deficiencies and/or previous injuries.
-Group conditioning and strength training sessions can be arranged and facilitated (minimum of 5 athletes per session).
-Importantly the above-mentioned support is complimented by ongoing feedback and education. This is the cornerstone of the program as it ensures that both the child and parents are improving their Strength and Conditioning and Sport Science knowledge.
Note – there is a minimum 3-month commitment with the commencement of the Aspiring Athlete Program.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
An initial needs analysis and online consultation are undertaken to determine yours or your child’s individual needs (objectives, experience, injuries, schedule, availability etc)
Access (child and parents) to a monthly webinar with TCC and other TCC athletes, where you will be able to ask questions about your program or broach broader S&C and Sport Science related topics.
