This program is only available to TCC members who are currently adhering to one of our running programs.
IS THIS PROGRAM FOR ME?
Nathan has devised and administered Strength and Conditioning programs for wide variety of runners, ranging from Olympians to weekend warriors. Irrespective of their training status, these athletes all had one thing in common – they wanted to run consistently without injury.
Fortuitously for runners, strength training and plyometrics have been proven to be highly effective at both improving running performance and mitigating injury risk.
TCC has devised a strength training program that is guaranteed to not only keep you running, but improve your running performance.
The strength training programs can be completed at home with no equipment, or at a fully equipped gym.
The program includes the following components – activation, preparation, injury prevention, plyometric and strength.
PROGRAM GOALS
The strength program is devised to achieve the following objectives:
-Improved running performance
-Improved running economy and efficiency
-Improved lower body strength
-Improved lumbo-pelvic control and stability
-Improved kinaesthetic awareness
-Improve robustness & running continuity
