Description
The Anaerobic Speed Reserve concept is one which Nathan has pioneered with his original research The efficacy of utilising the anaerobic speed reserve to prescribe supramaximal high intensity interval training, which was one of the first studies to investigate the utilisation of ASR to improve high intensity interval training prescription. Since then, Nathan has published further ASR research, whilst also extensively applying the concept with a wide variety of sports and athletes.
Anaerobic Speed Reserve is a relatively new concept within strength and conditioning and sport science, which means that it is often misapplied by coaches and practitioners. The ASR webinar will assist coaches and practitioners with understanding the nuances of ASR, whilst also outlining how it can be accurately and effectively applied with teams, sports and athletes of all levels and abilities.
Stemming from feedback from hundreds of coaches and practitioners who completed the ASR webinar, it is apparent that attendees have found replicating the TCC ASR spreadsheets in an accurate and timely manner problematic, with inaccurate conditioning prescription the result of this. As such, attendees have regularly enquired as whether the TCC ASR Spreadsheets were available to purchase. I am thrilled to announce that I am finally making these invaluable spreadsheets available for purchase.
The ASR spreadsheets enable you to accurately, effectively and seamlessly prescribe aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, whilst also enabling you to determine conditioning groups using MAS + ASR. These spreadsheets are the culmination of years of ASR research and investigation, practical application of ASR with a wide variety of athletes and teams and lastly, collaboration with other coaches and practitioners about the ASR concept.
The ASR spreadsheets will only save you an incredible amount of time, stress and frustration as you won’t have to create your own, but it will revolutionise the way you prescribe your Short Supramaximal HIIT, Short Anaerobic Supramaximal HIIT and Tempo sessions. The ASR spreadsheets will ensure that your conditioning groups are perfect, which in turn will ensure that your prescription is both incredibly precise and physiologically effective.
The ASR webinar, which was recorded on the 20th July 2022 covered the following topics:
